“It is my personal goal to help each child grow into an independent human being.”

I’ve always had a vision of working with children in a hands on, learning environment, but it wasn’t until I was invited to observe a Montessori school classroom that this ideal took the shape of a professional career path. Impressed by the independence of each of the toddlers, I was struck by a profound “aha moment” that sparked a 20-year career as a Montessori educator and mentor.

Sharing the knowledge I learned as a Montessori educator, a very hands-on, child-led approach to teaching and learning, is at the heart of all my service offerings. I’ve had the pleasure of guiding thousands of parents struggling with aspects of their child’s toileting, sleep and positive discipline. Bambini Method, a name inspired by Maria Montessori’s first school “Casa dei Bambini” (Children’s House in Italian), focuses on these important milestones, giving families or schools tools they can use to successfully set up an environment where their child can thrive.

For so many working parents, it can feel overwhelming at times to navigate life with a young child. I’m passionate about being a helping hand in this exciting stage of their child’s development. My personalized plans are successful because they are easy to implement and get to the point. I believe in always being kind but firm in difficult situations, upholding the values of grace and courtesy that is foundational to the Montessori approach.

In my two decades of experience as an educator and mentor, I have come across many scenarios to the common challenges of raising a young child. Being able to offer tools that nurture that milestone moment, when your little one goes from not having the capability to do a certain task to suddenly being able to put on their shoes, is what I love most in this work.

“I had started my career in the exciting toddler classroom, with a particular focus on toilet learning. The parents in my orientation never believed that I would help their 15 - 24 month-olds be out of diapers by the time they were 2 years old, but by January of that year, every single child was in underwear.”
